Fry's Trip October 20th
I have decided to have soup week at our house. I am going to make soup for dinner 3 times this week. I wish it was cold so I didn’t have to sweat while eating the soup but at least it will help us get in the fall mood. I am making my friend Jen B’s Butternut Squash soup, Baked Potato soup and Autumn soup. A lot of my shopping trip this week was to buy the ingredients for the soups and the other things were on sale so I could stock up.

I saved 35 cents from bringing my own bags. I ended up spending $52.81 and saving $52.62 which is a 49% savings. I never realized Butternut Squash was so spendy. I am super excited for the soup so it will be a special treat for us.
I've found that butternut squash at Trader Joe's is a lot cheaper than at Fry's, unless it's on sale.
